Just keep playing. Seriously. Trying other characters and coming back really helped me. He just makes more sense then.

up smash will be a lot better with a gamecube controller. It's just easier to execute oos and while moving. Do we know what frame each smash comes out? They're a bazillion times faster than raptor boost and about as punishable. But raptor boost still feels good somehow.
