crouch under his jc grab, d-throw cg easy to react to after like 35-40%, also can auto combo into sh f-air at most %'s. Goal is to always get falcon off stage as fast as possible. up-tilt is a counter approach to falcon's aerials. n-air usually covers all of falcon's recovery options. use pan in...

I think g&w has a strong advantage against DK. It's hard for dk to approach against g&w's f-air and sausage. Also hard for DK to recover since g&w can go far off stage. Although, DK does get really good followup off his cargo throw.

i think g&w vs ness is pretty even. played a bunch of friendlies with hbox at BMR and we were going pretty back and forth. That matchup really favors the player who hits with their respective f-air.

Up-tilt is good, but it's frame 9 which is a little too slow, so don't use overly often. I like using it while I'm behind falco's shield as a prediction that he'll try to jump oos.

Some other cool things you can do to throw off falco's spacing are: If you get hit by a laser, you can SDI the laser away, and then WAVELAND back to a distance where you can punish his expected followup. This is a reallllly essential thing to learn against falco IMO. It will make him afraid to...

Ah falco is the matchup I have the most experience in. In neutral, do a combination of crouching under lasers, using platforms (if any) to avoid lasers and close the distance between you and and falco. Pay attention to when he lasers and when you get within reach, you can hit him with f-air. 1...

worst ssbm character other than pichu

I'm not sure where you're basing a lot of your info from. I'm assuming that a lot of it a product of wishful thinking. I disagree with almost everything you say here, or find it irrelevant. M2K beating/almost beating players he is considerably more skilled than with a char he plays solely for...

worst ssbm character other than pichu

i think g&w is way better. i don't recall any roys taking sets off of any notable players in the last several years I also think roy has some unwinnable matchups in mid/high level of play where as g&w doesn't (sheik, samus, marth). my opinion is probably skewed, but prove me wrong!

against Roy just ban FD and strike FD/FoD. The matchup is not that hard overall, and you can platform camp him pretty effectively. Just be wary of shield stabbing f-smash, try to stay out of his strong f-smash range. Get him above you and keep him there. Challenge his recovery with off stage...

against doc make sure to have port priority. it affects how his d-throw mechanics work. abuse the fact that your f-air outranges all of his moves period. Try to stay near center stage so you don't get cape-gimped early on, recover high when possible. against mario, same thing, but be wary of his...

Hax dashing is always good to see how your opponent will react to a potential edge-hop waveland. That should give you the info to know what edge-option will be the right one. G&W's edge-game is actually pretty good, he has a bunch of invincible options. so getting back on stage from the edge...

yo! i don't play netplay unfortunately. i do have a lot of matches recorded against marth however, and i think i'm decent at the m/u. I have a bunch of matches on youtube against C!Z and The Moon that you could check out to give you a solid idea.

Agree with DL being bad against fox. I started liking FoD more than yoshi's recently against fox, it's easy to tech the plats when he up throws u on a low platform i guezz. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Yeah smart...

Q&A Game and Watch Q&A Thread

Dealing with an aggressive fox is easier than dealing with a passive/campy fox. The main anti-approaches against aggressive foxes are up-tilt, retreating sh f-air, jab, d-tilt, and full jump d-air. up-tilt beats fox's n-air/d-air approach, although it's frame-9 which is relatively slow...
