There is a lot of evidence for diddy being the best character in the game. Every tier list i've seen has him S tier, including Japanese ones. Also, a patch doesn't mean nerfs, it means balancing. Not only bad players say diddy is the best. If he gets balanced out then that a good thing. Ideally...

What i was even more excited about was the said "balancing" patch. So maybe the current tier list isn't set in stone (i mean it's obviously gonna change but maybe a patch will even it out)

I think it'd be hard to totally screw up the smash series, so i think a smash game without sakurai's involvement would be just fine, in fact, beneficial. I think the for glory mode in smash 4 and the omega stages are signs that there are people on the smash team that care about or at least want...

As far as i can tell they seem pretty similar to past smash games, although its possible they're a bit easier, i definitely don't think they're harder to perform tho.

Villager is probably the most fun character to play with in my opinion, and once you dig a little deeper there's a lot of options for him

I think the omega stages shouldn't all be FD style. They should all be simple platforms or FD but there should still be some variety

Don't be afraid to really go out from the ledge to finish a kill, villager's recovery is ridiculous.

Shell shifting is huge with squirtle. Something you can practice are jump cancelled grabs out of your turn-around animation. If done right you can fling yourself like half the distance of FD while grabbing.
