    They do not. Although it was heavily anticipated that they would, nintendo has emulated the smash 4 mechanic to a T - they trigger at 50% slider motion, not digital. digital is completely ignored by the game in menus and in game. I was and am extremely disappointed.

    So I was trying this on cloud and rosa with great success - but not mario for some reason. Grab about a body away from the ledge, and much like the pummel>instant pin, this gives you a tipper out of the instant pin.
