I doubt the roster of an "Ultimate Deluxe" or whatever will get touched assuming Sakurai isn't involved. I could see minor gameplay tweaks/Quality of life like reduced buffer, displays for certain mechanics we didn't get in Ultimate and rollback implemented due to the power of the new hardware.

Sora is the gaming character that contains the most Geno like energy asides from the puppet himself. A bizarro mix of Square Enix and some other property you wouldn't expect to see it mixed with made by a third party. So it's somewhat fitting IMO.

Also weird to think that Sora has arguably the most famous voice actor of the roster with Haley Joel Osmot being in actual movies and stuff.

I feel so bad for people who wanted a Souls character. That trailer up until Mario throws the fire could have gone in a totally different direction and worked for Dark Souls.

Yeah, if it is SEGA, my guess is SMT protag as well. Maybe not the one from V though since I think Flynn would be more appealing visually to the Smash demographic.

Been playing a ton of Astral Chain recently and man, if nothing else, the twins would have awesome alts potential. The Raven Outfit, the Civilian clothes and the tons of clothing combinations make it hard to just pick 8 alts (or 4 technically since you would need 1 for both.)

My friends and I are convinced the last character is gonna be a Pokemon. It's a very Nintendo move to end Sakurai's incredible run with Smash with a Pokemon of all things.
