Gamecube Controller Price Guide (And Info) - OUTDATED

Great guide. You should make a TL;DR table.

Match-up guide - Where to find a good one?

Also, there's a lot of Link and YoungLink that won't try to sweetspot. Remember than your counter beats that very easily. That will force them to try to sweetspot, which in turn will make you able to just edgehog them.

Match-up guide - Where to find a good one?

I have a thousand hour of samus matchup, so I can answer this one. Marth has a wonderful array of tools to edgeguard tether. What you want is throw a long and weak hitbox to take away their tether. That can be done by either back-airing or, depending on the wall-teching abilities of your foe...

Match-up guide - Where to find a good one?

The biggest problem is that since Marth is vert flow-charty, janky matchups like both Links, Pika and Yoshi can be difficult to approach correctly.

Match-up guide - Where to find a good one?

I can't seem to find a comprehensive match-up guide for characters other than the top 4 to 6. Anyone knows where I could find such a guide?

Questions about the Young Link match-up

Hello everyone, I barely see any information about the YL match-up. I would like to know how you guys like to approach it. While the punish is very straight-forward, I see the neutral as very tricky, since the generic dash-dance grab gets harder with the rain of projectile falling on you. Thanks!

Carpool to BH5 + Rooms in the hotel.

Hello everyone. We'll be going to BH5 from Montreal, through Toronto. We'll be staying at the Venue hotel from Thursday night until Sunday night. We still have spots both in the car and in the hotel. If you're interested, please post here with your location and we'll see what we can do...

Truth to be told - Megaman Pros and Cons

One thing that is often forgotten is that he's very, VERY frustrating to play against. That really helps you if your opponent struggles with the mental game.

    0-death Chaingrabbing Fox on FD

To get the kill, I usually sacrifice the % to get a F-smash close enough to the ledge that I can then switch to edge-guard mode. Aftr the second utilt regrab I usually go for weak-fair F-smash or just Pivot F-smash depending on their DI.

    Trying to learn competitive techniques

Fully Charged Shield-Breaker, when applicable, is a better solution. The knockback is better and does not stale your F-smash.

    Trying to learn competitive techniques

Once I actually broke someone shield doing this. I had made his shield very weak using down tilts and spaced fairs (He could do OOS options but for a reason did not.) I just SH Shieldbreaker then took the kill with a fully charged Shieldbreaker.

Marth Q&A Thread (To replace new thread spam)

Always go with the intention of learning. If you get punished, learn why. If you play to win, you'll be disappointed and lose the focus.

    Considering switching to Marth

It seems weird, but I found that taking one of the spacies and then grind a week with them made me understand a lot of things about the game. It also revived the love that I had for my original main. It could be just me though.

How do you play against players who you KNOW are better than you?

It all depend on how better they are. If they're just a little bit better, I will go all in and try to be as good as possible. If I play a VERY good player (Top100 caliber), I often lose all composure because of their awesome spacing and movement. I then proceed to kill myself 3 times...
