I've personally given up on anyone I'm personally attached to being the final character, though I hope whoever it is, everyone else is happy with it. ...Please god give us more quality Mii costumes though. It's very disappointing how few we got after Sans.

Most of our western characters aren't human though (Dark Samus, Diddy, Banjo)...it's only Steve that isn't and he's "human". I suppose you could consider Little Mac an honorary Western character but then you'd have to consider Ridley one as well.

The circumstances surrounding Terry's pack (It was more an SNK pack than a KOF / FF pack) coupled with the fact that SNK is by far the smallest 3rd party company represented in Smash makes me feel it's incredibly unlikely we get a 2nd SNK character still.

So far Sakurai hasn't cared that much about that kinda thing when it comes to alternate costumes / echoes. You mentioned Enderman, but most of Simon's kit comes from Richter's games, and I believe the DQ boys all have some differences as well between their games.

Personally I'm not a fan of the muluticolored varia suits, and prefer a solid color (I also thought the Fusion suit was kinda ugly) but yeah I'm always down for more accurate palate swaps for characters. Though really I hope we get full character costumes for every character in the next Smash...
