A while back I made a list of 40 first party characters Are all of these characters megatons on the level of Dante and Crash? No, but I think it proves that there are still first parties worth adding.

And this is in a world where scyther can wear boots to not lose half of it's health on entry. Scyther is stronger than most NFEs, but Scizor is pretty much just an upgrade.

Variety's the spice of life, I think it's neat to have some unevolved Pokemon. Pokken had a few, and honestly I think it would have been cool to have even more. Haunter or Gurdurr could have been fun. That was an unironic want of mine during the ballot days. Honestly, I still wouldn't be opposed.

I don't get why you need to evolve them, though. I kinda get Ivysaur, because middle evolutions are the awkward middle stage and all the Saurs have roughly the same body plan, but Squirtle and Blastoise are radically different. It would be like adding Beast Ganon but completely removing Ganondorf.

I remain baffled at the lack of Undertale spirits. At this point I'm convinced Toby turned them down for weird lore reasons, because I refuse to believe the idea didn't cross Sakurai's mind.

Remakes exist as a way to have old games playable on new systems. Are the Resident Evil remakes redundant when the series is still getting new games?

I hope not. Don't get me wrong, I like Legends Arceus, but there's no reason we can't get Legends games and remakes.
