Definitely not. But when it comes to presentation, Mario Wonder blows Spider-Man 2 out of the water regardless of resolution or polygon count, if you ask me.

It's pretty much what it sounds like: best overall design for visual art and animation within a video game. I like to think of it as meaning "best graphics" but with a focus on what has the strongest overall visuals rather than just what's pushing the graphics tech the most.

Well the nominees for that one are Elden Ring, GoW Ragnarok, Horizon: Forbidden West, Scorn and Stray so those last two at least are definitely not there just for technical fidelity
