OP is completely out of touch with reality. Changes to jumpsquat and dashing are massive and have lots of implications across the cast. Being able to run and cancel into Dtilt is gonna be a big deal for Roy, Marth, and Chrom, we also have seen next to no footage for Roy or Chrom, I don't see how...

After realizing that SFV is awful and Capcom has no desire to fix the game, I'm learning Guilty Gear / Tekken and shaking off the rust in PM Is Samus considered good at all or should I just stick to Ike

Roy, Wolf, Ike are all pretty solid example of great designs the DT did. Ike in particular is a huge design success imo

The problem is the PMDT decided to take a lot of creative freedoms with the cast which caused a lot of these issues. Sakurai designs characters pretty holistically, for the most part. I think you can fix most issues with the Melee cast purely by buffing frame data The DT went way too crazy...

If those rules were established in those games, sure. But they weren't, and Lucario is the only character in PM that breaks the rules to this extent.

It's a discussion about bad design, which this game has a LOT of, and why it's on an inevitable decline in players. A shame too because I really loved this game but a lot of the design choices make me scratch my head.

None of that is immediately noticeable since the animation cancelling is extremely clunky and just looks like Lucario is having a seizure in front of you.
