Shout out to the hero who took all three of Leffen's stocks with a Bowser f-smash. Got destroyed before and after that, but it was glorious.

I've been playing elite smash 1v1's for the last few days. I was going fairly even with most characters, though I got wrecked by Zelda every time I fought her. My win rate against Ridley is also like 35%, his backair is massively annoying. Better than my 0% against Zelda though.

It's unfixed and unchanged.

Bowser seems unchanged. Damage is identical. Downsmash seems to have slightly more knockback but I could be imagining things I don't remember exact percents it killed at since who actually kills with it regularly? Update: Bowsercide is unfixed and unchanged from functionality yesterday.

I've played 287 for glory 1v1's as Bowser now. I don't think he's going to be all that great. He struggles against campy characters and while he's not too slow he has a ton of end lag on most of his moves. Once people learn his timings he's in trouble. Klaw has a shorter range and is a lot...

I'm disgusted by the assertion Bowser should be smaller. There's a whole cast of small or medium characters to choose from. You choose Bowser you signed up for the biggest, baddest character there is.

I just want to express my bitterness that the rich potential for a Bowser's Castle stage hasn't been tapped yet.

How much money does that put in Nintendo's pocket? Anyway I prefer Brawl, but I play Bowser. "Slow" and "Defensive" are appealing words to me.

Bowser isn't SUPER strong in Brawl. He hits less hard than Snake, Ganondorf, Dedede, Donkey Kong, Ike etc. In fact that's one of his problems, he has all the downsides of being slow and big but doesn't really hit much harder than your average character. His smashes and heavy hitting moves in...

People who want melee with updated graphics are going to be disappointed. If we get "Brawl, but better" I'll be happy.

I would get over Bowser sucking, I mean I've gotten very used to it. New/better, voice, victory music and a stage would be things I really want.

Man I don't what you guys are talking about going melee to brawl. I played only Bowser in both and things got faster and more fluid going to Brawl. "Combos"? What the hell are those? Is that when I may as well put my controller down for 15 seconds while my character gets unstoppably KO'd?

He's certainly standing taller.
