as an aside...anyone considered doing 1v1 matches with ONLY baseball bat item? seriously though it really does boil down to if you WANT to play competitively. no one's going to force it on you to play expert level. you can have just as much fun playing with items in a casual environment...

i guess maybe if you're starting out playing the game, 5-stock is a viable option. pretty much the 3-stock rule has been FORCED onto competitive players though for the sake of making things go faster.

the last thing you want to be doing is eating at McDonald's to begin with. unless maybe you go there, sit at the tables, and eat the box lunch you brought from home just to get a rise out of them :p

smash ball is great when you're playing with other people who are casual. other than that it couldn't hurt to be a little competitive from time to time. that's why i'm here as well. Spring break is upon us, and i want the chance to practice this baby.
