Maybe try the adapter in computer mode. Also, try putting Dolphin in the GC for WIIU mode and if that doesn't work try configuring it in standard controller mode.

I don't like them myself as they feel really cheap. I would prefer GC but if its the only thing you got, make sure you pay a cheap price for it.

Hey so in my regional area the best player is an ice climbers main and I'm so close to beating him but I was wondering if you had any general tips on Falco Vs IC? What are the best stages against them and is there any good laser techniques that I should be using?

I know this may sound dumb but make sure you aren't pressing anything when you plug in your controller. When it is plugged into the game takes the controller's inputs as the default.
