Plenty of reasons. Mainly, Apex used to be THE super smash bros world finals. back in 2010 - 2013 there were only like 2 super majors a year, and Apex would always be the biggest one. Apex 2015 was the largest tournament of all time up to that point, and the first to ever break 1k entrants...

Leffen was complaining about Bo3 outside of top 8 and that it should be Bo5 for all of top 32 or at least top 12. He mentioned that he'd have to play m2k in winners quarters Bo3 if they don't change it.

i know that leffen is seeded to play m2k in winners quarters, which is the winner makes top 8 match. anyways, no matter how it gets seeded someone is gonna be mad about their seeding lol
