People seem to bring this up a lot, but I don't think it makes any sense. If you get the most out of an attack it's not spaced badly. Moves can have different optimal spacing depending on the state of the enemy (shield, spotdodge, etc). There's nothing that says a move has to hit at the farthest...

It's not something you can john about since it affects everyone the same, but it is something that makes the game feel bad to play. People don't mean it breaks competitive play they mean it just makes the game feel sluggish.

Buffer is easy to notice, especially since there are 10 frames of it compared to 1-2 for the input lag. It also only happens in specific situations rather than whenever you input anything, which makes it easier to spot since it sticks out. So you think input lag makes a game feel better? I...

It wasn't noticeable because it affects all players equally. It's a basic part of the feel of the game that makes it less enjoyable to play. People didn't notice it for 5 years because they didn't have anything to directly compare it to.

They should just have a set max size of light shield and a set max size of normal shield (max size as in when it's first put up without taking any hits or decaying). Having the imperfect light shield sizes really doesn't matter and can't be replicated on non-GC controllers.

Does the new striking thing work with custom stages? Not that anyone uses them (Stacksmash doesn't even let you have any), I'm just curious.

By using ad hominem at the same time as you say your argument it's assumed that you are using the ad hominem to influence others into believing you. Saying "oh that doesn't count because I didn't directly say it was part of the argument" isn't valid because it obviously was if you included it in...

I didn't say it was you who said that, but it's definitely been said, although probably not quite as directly. Last paragraph was directed at the thread in general not either of you specifically.

You act like you know the guy. All he did was tell you that you were calling your own musical opinions fact (which you were). You call yourself logical yet you're attacking him personally for something so small (and correct at that). Last time I checked ad hominem was an informal fallacy, and...

Did you guys find a good layout for Norfair? It's on the front page with all the other Neutral/mostly Neutral stages, so I'm assuming you did. Sorry if it's old news, I haven't been watching streams recently. Also I don't know about Blazblue but Guilty Gear has great music and it's made by the...

The point of a hyperbole is to say something that is obviously an overstatement. The BBR easily COULD release a new tier list every other month based on how things are going. So it's not hyperbole, or at least, it's not hyperbole used properly, it's pretty much just misinformation. For example...
