    Link OP, don't use ivy. My bro mains Link and I play Ivy and he wins a lot of the time just because of the character. I'll switch to yoshi and beat him right afterwards :)

    I generally don't approach with ivy since her attacks are pretty easy to punish. Retreating b-airs and spaced razor leafs do wonders

    Captain falcon matchups

    b-airs are very useful for edge guarding samus. If you get her off just stall on the ledge with invincibility until she comes back. Also, shielding is quite safe in this matchup since her grab kind of sucks and most of the time you can run up and shield as an approach.
