    Buffer deactivation?

Buffer deactivation is actually extremely similar to smash 4, except the last B press must be in the last 9 frames of a move's lag instead of 10. I'm guessing your last Special press may be too early because that's usually how I mess up. Here's the smash4 guide. http://shulk101.com/tutorial/mabd

Monado quick change with tap jump

I've been letting go of special at around the same time I input C-stick, or maybe slightly later. It's surprisingly hard though. Also it can make you attack.

Social "This is a good result!" - Shulk Discussion & Social Thread

Here it is, I had to dig back a few days. https://twitter.com/gakuSSB/status/1073075364296036357/video/1 After this video a ton of other stuff was found to make this even more practical. I haven't seen a central list but this twitter account is like a timeline of Shulk tech discovery.

Social "This is a good result!" - Shulk Discussion & Social Thread

Have you seen these yet? http://twitter.com/JacobStaudt/status/1073775255913676800 http://twitter.com/inumaro12345/status/1075082338252447745 Shulk's crazy now with this tech called Dial Storage. It's basically an easier MALLC where you can decide to go into any art you like or no art at...

Monado quick change with tap jump

Actually you can choose an art with the C-stick too, except you have to time it because the game won't hold the directional input. Also, of course if the dial is up for long enough then it will ignore tap jump, but that's sort of slow.

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

Ah I almost forgot. It's also not explicit all of these lists that BF form stages are legal, but hopefully yes. I haven't heard whether any stages have weird properties like grass traction, but that's minor.

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

Overall yea I think ppl will want to ban stages because they're too similar, unless there's a way to prevent that with sets or rotations. It would be sort of a shame because we could have a wider music selection. But not the end of the world, especially for Pokemon. Yoshi's Brawl feels very...

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

Yup I am ok with this. Hopefully some of the tentative stages make it in. Also hopefully PS or FoD are considered neutral enough that we won't get Smashville game 1 all the time.

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

I'm also not sure on these groupings. The walls make FD/Wily's very different for some characters, which can make it awkward to choose whether to ban those. And there's even more differences in the tri-plat group with hazards on. I feel like people will ban the tri-plat group a lot just to...

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

The way I see it, top players from the previous games have an incentive to keep the status quo. If they won a lot with a restrained stagelist, why jeopardize their consistency by adding new stages to the mix? Every new feature or "jank" is a potential point of failure, or at the very least...

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

I might have an wacky idea for that too, but haven't worked out all the consequences. After each player suggests some stages to be added to the list, the opponent can decide immediately that they would like to pick one of their offered stages. Then you can't spam bans. So let's say P1 suggests...

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

This looks promising. I think I have a way to reduce the Player 2 bias. RPS to see who is player 1. Have the players pick stages in 1-2-2-1 order. Then each player chooses a stage to play on, and games 1 and 2 will be on those stages. And yea I think random stage select is good enough for...

Pre-Release The Transition: New Mechanics, Re-works, Balance Changes Thread

Wow possibly huge, there's some evidence that you can't tech spikes when grounded anymore.

Discussion of Stage Legality in Smash Bros. Ultimate

Here are my thoughts: Pros: Fast and easy logistically because of minimal stage striking. This is the main draw Avoids neutral/cp stage distinction Cons: Characters are always blind pick which removes a big part of the game, character counterpicking. I feel like this part could be edited tho...

Pre-Release The Bounty Board: Stuff That Needs Testing

I wish someone could test how DI works. I don't think it's confirmed whether Ultimate has smash4's weird vectoring/DI hybrid, or if it's back to how it was in older games.
