    Hi! I tried making a stage a long time ago, it fell apart, but now I want to give it a go again! I want to make an "HD" version of Yoshi Story 64, but I don't know very much about Brawl's limitations, from one Ivysaur brother to another, do you have any tips or tricks that you could point me towards? What're Project M's official polygon limits?

    I always initially aim for 30,000 triangles in a stage, and then try to bring it down to around 25,000 by optimizing things. 30,000 can lag a tiny bit if you're running with 4 IC's or 4 shogun DDDs on the stage at one time, but for the most part you'll be fine.

    Some other things to keep in mind is that any time you use "cull none" in Brawlbox, you're effectively doubling the polycount of whatever that material is applied to, and objects with transparency or complicated animations are typically more "expensive" than objects without so try not to go crazy with them.

    Thanks man! I got accepted to be part of the PMDev Team back in March last year. I basically made that golden sun stage as my proof to them that I'm capable of doing this work. It's been great :D

    Pretty solid. We just released 3.5 of Project M and my Metal Cavern HD stage was released with it so I'm pretty stoked haha. I'm still in it here. :p

    YOU MADE THE METAL CAVERN STAGE?????? Me and my 2 brothers LOVE how it turned out!!! My favortie part of the stage was when you read the sign, you can actually see what it says and it tells you "Stand infront of a sign and press B, like what you're doing right now" You have gained so much respect from me, man :D
