I've been playing Shinorubi myself, it's okay although I love the characters and world the game has.

Playing Gunvein, love the game system that awards you playing aggressivly even if I have a cramped right hand due to needing to use the R button for the lock on system. XD

Seeing as DC Comics has their own versions of the Fawcett Comics characters and I've been on a huge Fawcett Comics kick lately. I would love to see some of their superheroes such as Spy Smasher, Ibis the Invincible, or Bulletman and Bulletgirl in Multiversus.

As a Western shmup fan, my unpopular opinion is that I enjoy the story and characters just as much as the gameplay even if a shoot em up doesn't have an extensive story like an RPG.

Me too, even back in the 16-bit era when I watched my sister played games I always wondered why in many of them the main character never spoke. I sort of got annoyed by this trait. Which was kind of why when I started playing games some of my favorite characters would be the NPCs that talked to...
