    my guess is, that she'll die no matter what when it comes to rush-down characters. if the player is skilled, they can seperate nana from you and kill her off. it was the same in brawl and melee. but back then such characters needed to be more careful because of the zero-death chaingrabs.

    That's actually super super easy to do when you have C-Stick set as "special". Because you can just buffer (when you're landing) a dash and C-stick down at the same time for instant desynch blizzard.

    The Landing Lag Desynch is way easier to perform, when it's not an empty shorthop, but you instead airdodge to the ground.     Don't know if anyone has figured this out yet, but you can desynch simply via shorthopping, directional airdodge to the ground (diagonal downwards works aswell), and buffering an iceblock with popo (don't know if other specials work aswell, might be, but the timing is trickier idk) -> you're...

    I completely agree. Nana not being able to save Popo... we'll see how that plays out. But that is really a heavy nerf.

    I would worry less about the desynchs though. I remember in the beginning of brawl when everyone was sad because the spotdodge desynch was gone but then they found all these amazing desynchs that are maybe even more practical. Something will be found sooner or later I guess!

    That doesn't come into play often tho if you can seperate ICs safely via grab, split them up, and gimp nana easily.

    Thank you for the clarification on that one! So I guess we have to come up with other tech, interesting! I'm sure with time someone will come up with something, after all it's ICs ^^ Btw do you know if Nana can still get Popo out of a grab if he gets grabbed? Is she controllable in that situation?

    I watched the Video where Nakat played Ice Climbers and both times when he backthrowed, Nana did not make the taunt-animation, maybe that could be a setup for at least a follow-up? But yeah, I suppose cgs are most likely gone for good.
