sorry i'm still a bit confused.. so in order to do a turnaround grab i need to smash my control stick in the opposite direction instead of lightly pressing it, while also inputting the grab before the turn so i dont jump cancel out of the turn?

I don't think its guarddamage. I've been trying to get it to show for a long time now and its just not lighting up. I would have been able to see it at least once even if shield stun was like as small as 1 frame or soemthing

Hello does anyone know the command for shield stun? sort of like how tumbling is "damagefall." For the new 20xx i want to assign a color to when I'm in shield stun so i know the difference for timings and whatnot. Thanks!

i have tried both and i recommend 20xx. the fact that 20xxte doesn't have random di and teching for cpus makes it way worse for training purposes imo.

I understand what sdi is i'm more confused on the quarter circle motions and how to do them. (how fast, where to start and end if getting hit by a certain move, etc.) thanks for the replies!

I know there are already tons of di threads out there, but I've read many of them and still don't quite understand quarter circle di. I've heard that using quarter circles are easier to do and more optimal than tapping or smashing your control stick for sdi, but can someone explain why? and also...

so i did some research on this method and it seems the there's no way to import the 20xx from the homebrewed wii with the usb loader into a gamecube memory card so i guess there's just really no way. thank you for trying to help me though i rly appreciate it :)

so just to clarify, regular 20xx (not te) can only be played on a wii or dolphin? i have a homebrewed wii so is there a way to get 20xx on there? i just primarily use 20xxte on my gamecube instead of the wii since ive heard that gamecubes 'run' the game more proficiently than the wii does.

oh ok thanks for the clarification. so when I see streamers play on 20xx its without a doubt on dolphin? i find it odd though since 20xx is by far the most popular training mod for smash and the only way to use it is on dolphin, where there's like a little bit of lag compared to gamecube. btw...
