Fantastic thread OP, and I couldn't agree more. Sephiroth is cool and all, but he only represents Final Fantasy 7. It really leaves you wanting more, you know? I think Jack would be a fantastic way to end the Smash Bros. Ultimate saga. Let's kill Chaos together.

Only, Yoshimitsu appears in both series, but is relevant to neither. He's a side character in both series, whereas Nightmare and Heihachi are pivotal to Soulcalibur and Tekken, respectively. Plus, it'd be hard to create a moveset for Yoshimitsu as he is completely different in both games. And...

I wouldn't look too far into it, but it's pretty odd that within the context of Smash Wii U and 3DS he would say *Xenoblade* *characters* and not just Shulk. Of course, if he stuttered like that he might have just straight up forgot Shulk's name. Lol

I'm guessing it's just Ashley and he only ever shows up as himself in taunts/victory. Really, the only reason Rosalina & Luma stuck as a name is because you technically control Luma as a character. (he also does most of the legwork in that duo but y know whatev)
