I have never heard of anyone mapping Special to the Cstick. I think what you maybe meant was the Dpad. I do that to get maximum height out of Tornado recovery. Special to Dpad and tap jump off is all I do for Mario. then just swap to no control scheme for lucas or Falco or someone I need tap...

Can I ask why you are so set on the "using default controls"? The only thing to do is have as many Special button inputs as fast as you can. on default just have to mash like you say no other way around it, maybe if its that bad you are FF'ing? Not sure how people mash that fast either. Gallo...
