But for obvious reasons, I feel like if a horror game series is to get a playable character on the roster, Resident Evil should be at the front of the line. I have my preference as to who specifically it should be, but Capcom just HAD to make three viable options.

I can see Freddy and the others being added as Mii Costumes, which I think would be appropriate that series

With Ultimate’s FPs having 3 characters from Square Enix, I’ll just pose this question: If you were able to pick 3 characters from the same company for Smash 6’s passes, what would you go with?

In regards to Nintendo characters: Bandanna Waddle Dee, Dixie Kong, Raven Beak, Krystal, and a LoZ character In regards to 3rd party: Leon Kennedy, Dante, Shantae, Doomslayer, and a Mortal Kombat character

For Leon, I’d have to say Brawl, since that was the first Smash game to release after RE4 left its mark.

Going through all 9 current gens, this is what I settled on: Gen 1: Gengar Gen 2: Scizor Gen 3: Grovyle Gen 4: Garchomp Gen 5: Zoroark Gen 6: Hawlucha Gen 7: Decidueye Gen 8: Toxtricity Gen 9: Tinkaton

It does make me wonder about something: if Nintendo did another FE character through DLC again, how would they do it? Another solo presentation like Byleth after letting people know a second fighter pass is happening OR Handle it like Hero where they’re revealed in a E3 Direct all the while...

But for real, I’m not against the series having playable representation. 5 inclusions over the last 2 games was a little much, though.

We’re talking about how we’d handle FE reps? That’s easy: cut all of them. They’ve had it too good for too long.

With the latest game I’ve cleared off my backlog being Bayonetta, is it unrealistic to think that Jeanne could work as an echo fighter in the next game, or would it be avoided given what happened with Bayo in Sm4sh?

Also, just wanted to clarify: my wanting of more characters from M-rated/Pegi-16+ games isn’t because I think Nintendo only appeals to 6 year olds (I’ve never subscribed to that idiotic mindset and it thankfully stayed in the 2000s); it’s just that it seems like they’ve been a bit more lax about...
