  • my wii is broken right now, im sending it in to nintendo tomorrow and my friend said it takes about 2-3 weeks for it to get back. so ill finish testing upsmash with di and can do vanish when i get it back
lol...keep the discussions on the threads though, cuz I'm sure more all the other Sheik mains can help answer your questions as well.
Most characters won't get comboed into usmash from an ftilt lock at KO %, save for Fox, Sheik and Wolf. Others you can catch them with a single ftilt into usmash at KO %, provided the ftilt is decayed enough. Other than that Vanish is her 2nd best KO move, and you can use it as a sort of psuedo-counter since it has a healthy amount of invincibility frames.
No, the only time that a DACUS guarantees a tipper (sweetspot) is on certain characters after a grab release, such as MK or Lucas.

The sweetspot is when the opponent gets hit with the tip of both her hands, and thus the they have to be right above her. Most of the tipprs I get are through platforms, ie. the side platforms on Battlefield.
Well Ftilt lock u just have to get into the rhythm and do it consistently. The visual cue is her leg should look as if its constantly rotating. Also DACUS is difficult for everyone since it's frame tight. What I do is set my R button to attack (or L, depending on which one you use to shield) and i enter dash > cstick down (dash attack) > up on control stick + R. You have to do it VERY quick basically.
    Samus CANNOT kill.
Samus MAIN damage collector is ZAIR and it does not refresh any of her other moves.
    Samus has a HORRIBLE grab
Samus cannot punish out of shield if the foe even SLIGHTLY spaces thier attacks.
Samus projectiles are SLOW and easy to power shield.
Samus is SUPER floaty which means she can be comboed VERY easily.
    I couldn't find Mexico's tier list.

If there were several others I would be happy to make a global conglomerate tier list.
I know what you ment. I don't have power over the tier list conglomerate. It's averaged from 3 different tier lists so it doesn't make sense in some parts.
F-tilt is a beast! Thank you fro playing me. We did like 900000000000 matches. it was really really fun. Im sory if my rob was annoying.
Then I dont know what else to tell you anymore if you gonna be like this. You are pretty much on your own then. Nothing else for me to tell you.
read the characters boards for advice, pratice your characters and go to tournaments. Only way you gonna get better.
My friend lent me his wii for a while so I was able to upload videos.

    And I been fine.
Well, i have not got a chance to play it but from what i KNOW about it, it will be a pretty decent fighter. Some of the ssb team had a hand in making this game so it may be kinda like smash. It looks fun!

And yes, HP/true combos makes the game look EVEN MORE amazing! if i were you, borrow it from a friend and/or rent it.
Sadly, modding the game won't help, because the lag is because of how the Wii was made... Nintendo didn't use the best parts, simply put. They used OK parts, not good parts, and the internet can't go faster than how the Wii will make it go.

Even if you have perfect internet and your friend too, you'll still get lag.
LOL hahaha retirement homes with lots of videogames XD I didn't think about that! That's golden, lol. I can only imagine it...

And yeah, the older gamers are aging and moving on... The oldest champions have already abandoned videogames completely, these current champions are the newest generation and they still prefer offline than online, mostly because there's no lag to get in the way of their games. If Nintendo does a system that has lagless Wifi, I'm sure wifi will be the best thing ever... But for Brawl, it isn't.
Being in a tournament surrounded by people yelling "GO GO BEAT THAT GUY!" also releases endorphins such as adrenaline, that make you feel excited and ready to push over a car or two! :p

It's the people wanting to be surrounded by other people, the human being is based on socializing with others of the same kind. Brawl is much more popular because it is easier than Melee. You had to be really dedicated to be good at that game, and in Brawl, you don't have to spend as much dedication on the game.
Card games, table games and sport games aren't better online. What's more, games that are based on reactions like Super Smash Bros aren't meant for online play, as even a small amount of lag will make your reactions take longer, and that small amount of time might mean the difference between a successful block, and a death because you were too late raising your shields.

And how do you know that the community prefers online over offline? Practically 80% of the Smash community that is bent on helping the game live as long as possible goes here, to Smashboards, and make sure Smash survives by attending the tourneys and socializing with other players. If online ever does become the basis of all smashing, no one will have that "bond" they share nowadays, and no one will be able to train to their fullest.

This is an online match. This is an offline match. See the difference? Offline is much more advanced and much faster than online.
actually, the vast majority of the fanbase prefers offline than online.

And distance is no problem, people who really want to participate in national Brawl tournaments either go by plane, drive there, or stay at a hotel or family member's house. I live in an island, even farther than East Coast is to West Coast, and some of our players have gont to tournaments in the West Coast.

People don't want the ability to play against anyone, anywhere. They want the ability to play the game at its best. Online brings lag, connection problems, items being used (majority doesn't like items) against our will... But when you play offline, you can change all of this for the better.
Online playability in older versions of the Smash genre are fanmade additions. Nintendo never really made them online, Brawl is the first one to have online play by Nintendo.

And, if the next-gen console DOES support better wifi connectivity, then online play may be plausible as a replacement to offline play. They really have to make online better if they want online to be better than offline.

Plus, people like hanging out! You can't hang out while playing online. :/
I don't think so. People will stay offline for the most part, because it's not as annoying as online.

Sometimes, you want to do something online, and you're a second too late. When you try it offline, everything works out perfectly. That's why people will prefer offline almost all the time.
that's the sad truth. Most pro's don't like playing wifi because of that same thing, some characters play better online.
Well, to tell you the truth, even FPS's have lag, you just can't see it as clearly as Brawl's lag, since fighting games are supposed to give both players the same disadvantage when online...

In FPS's, the fastest connection wins since there are so many different people playing, giving more lag everytime someone else joins would destroy the fun.
i don't think it would be a good idea, since fighter games are so different from fps's.

And Smash is good how they made it, i like it this way, no need to change it. ;)
It depends on the speed of our connection. During the day or very late at night, my internet connection is best. Of course there will still be a very small amount of lag, but that's how wifi works.
Nah, don't worry about it, that's what walls were made for!

And yep, I change colors and stuff every now and then. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to play on a hacked Wii that has had their characters' looks changed. That's why Kirby looks so different sometimes in the videos.

And now, I am going to bed, since it's 3:00am where I live, so have a nice day/night!
I prefer being able to inhale. I can do some very nasty things by inhaling my opponents! It is worth swallowing them and taking their powers, though, I just prefer doing crazy things.

And I can't play wifi. My wii broke and I haven't played for like a month now, sorry.
Kirby videos are a better idea, I don't have any new ZSS videos, all the ones I have are verrry old!

And I know how you feel, usually when people say "online" they ignore you guys completely, or simply say "you know nothing, goodbye".
