Whatever they decide to reveal, i hope they also give us a bunch of decent length gameplay clips of some of the characters that are not playable in the inevitable E3 demo, for us to analyze the crap out of.

I think there will be changes to the game that will trap us in endless discussions about how Smash 5 is "more like Melee". These changes will actually be simple stuff like more speed or hitstun, while much bigger changes away from how Melee worked, like Smash 4 ledge changes, will be glossed over.

Fox is a character is played by a lot of tier 3 players raking in points for his results. He is also a character who "theory" says simultaneously he is so fast and threatening he is top tier, and that everyone can lol-combo him out of relevancy. I agree with neither point.

I mainly just want a port that combines the Wii U and 3DS versions and DLC. My biggest hope however is like half a year of patches. If there is a new character there is a good chance of this. I just want a period of time after release where the balance of the game gets ajusted, and then it all...

Since people were making their last minute Lucina upvotes, i took another look at how that would affect the list. I decided that having Marth and Lucina in the same tier, but as the top and bottom spot respectively, is a good representation of how i see them. So i jumped on the bandwagon.

Corrin is a pretty solid character that doesn't stand out in terms of gameplay nor popularity. I am very hesitant to move them any further down given they are light on weaknesses and have a good but travel restricted main around in Cosmos.
