Roy isn't bad. You've clearly got no clue what you're talking about. He's fast, he's got good combos, he's strong, he has kill confirms. He's got moves that are safe on shield (despite popular belief that he doesn't.) and he's got a decent neutral game. His only two downsides are that his reach...

I started with Brawl, so my first main was actually Lucario, but in Smash 4 my first main was Duck Hunt.

Brinstar has the lava acid stuff at the bottom of the stage, preventing edgeguards from working, and making you live longer.

I play Roy as a dual main with Pikachu, with Robin/Peach as secondaries, and it works pretty well. Roy lets me see the Mario matchup from a different angle, and Robin/Peach are both pretty tricky to deal with when you don't know the matchup.

You have to outplay them, just like all dittos in Smash. Just play better than your opponent, and you'll do well.

PP Utilt and PP ftilt are really the only important Pikachu pivots, at least in my opinion.

It doesn't matter if they can escape or not, what matters is if they actually do escape or not.
