Awesome thanks for the heads up, i'll definitely look into this. I've never really gotten the chance to play smash 64 with any non-noobs. And by noobs I mean people have NEVER played smash 64. It would be a breath of fresh air to learn from something other than repeated matches against CPUs.

If you guys are meeting up for smash 64 somewhere in LA i'm interested as well. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Wow, thanks a lot. This is EXACTLY what I needed. Where do you guys find these awesome videos? I feel like I can never find good smash 64 tech videos. Also, just to clarify, are you saying that holding the control stick in the opposite direction does nothing to reduce knockback?

This is probably a dumb question, but I've been watching competitive smash videos for a long time and I always hear stuff like, "wow that was great DI!" or, "not much DI there". What else besides holding the control stick in one direction or another is required for "good DI"? Can someone explain...

Does anyone know of a video that teaches in-depth how to multishine? Complete with a section showing what his hands are doing on the control? Also, when you SHDL do you guys just mash b as fast as you can or is there some sort of rhythm?

I'm in Los Angeles, CA and always ready to smash.

So then is it common for people use both buttons depending on whether theyre gonna throw: an aerial or laser? Or do they usually just play with only one button and just deal with it?
