If you are trying to roll cancel boost pivot grab you would essentially input the boost grab but just before you input the grab you flick the stick the opposite direction. The Beefy Smash Doods made a pretty good video detailing how to perform it.

The real problem is his side b. It has a ridiculous hitbox, does insane shield damage, can spike, AND can ground you in a nearly unmashable way at mid to higher percents. Way I see it is if people are complaining about spam its obviously working on them and you should keep on letting the good times roll. Obviously use your whip a lot. But if B works then use it.
