I'm not huge on third parties taking over Smash. ("Taking over" is a bit of an exaggeration but you get my point). I'm not huge on the Rayman idea, but I would prefer him over Banjo-Kazooie. Also: -Another new FE character (unless the character is DLC and other FE characters are cut)...

This definitely needs to happen. I love newcomers as much as the next guy, but many of the vets' franchises have evolved (BoTW, Odyssey, etc.). Smash should follow suit and better represent where these characters are now.

I'm all for it. I tried a Ridley mod in PM over the weekend, and am now convinced that Ridley should be a fighter. And this is coming from someone who hasn't played much Metroid. If this were to happen, I would expect him to be one of the very first newcomers announced.

I imagine that it will be exactly this, with hair and paint colors being random like in Splatoon.

I'm gonna be greedy and hope for both Andy and Sami. This probably won't happen, but I can dream. I'm not completely opposed to Andy, but Sami seems like the more fitting character.

Granite Countertop here. I've made a couple of other posts and realized I should probably make a quick intro. Huge Smash fan, to the point of annoying some people. Frankly, I'm not sure why I waited so long to join Smashboards. Looking forward to seeing everyone's thoughts, movesets, etc.
