    Dsmash?

The more and more I play as DK the more I notice the I Dsmash much less than I used to. Is this the same with you guys? I keep finding situations where there are more suitable options other than Dsmash but what do you guys think?

Smash Back Room Weekly Character Discussions! FINAL UPDATES: Ness + Lucas. All done!!

It has to be DK It isn't Marth because his moves are NOT so punishable, as the clues state. Imagine it, a lot more can be said about Marth other than spacing. DK's shield game is amazing, he has the power to break shields fairly easily. Plus when it comes to being punished, DK has to be it...

    Donkey Kong's Forward B Use?

just to put it out there, this technique can also be done from platforms, sparingly useful so use that as a surprise attack

No More Monkey Business: Tom's Guide to DK [Ver. 0.5] (04/Apr/08)

The Dsmash has a more extended reach out in front of him, it can be notably seen that it nearly has double range in the front. Also I think you forgot to mention the initial knockback of an arial spinning kong. Although this is my opinion I kind of think the title is a little wierd

DK: 101 A primer for newcomers.

tap down and immediately press jump, then immediately after jumping do the punch, you'll grab the ledge if that's what you're trying to do. You just have to do it quickly. And once you have that one down I suggest you practice doing a ledgehop turn-around punch on recovering opponent and...

DK: Aiding Arenas and Counter Stages, Sticky Dammit!

This is coming from Melee but applies here too, GREEN GREENS He can camp behind the blocks and charge the punch, and if they don't have pk thunders/grenades/nikitas than you're good to go. Also I pretty much up for any stage with platforms, as DK's level of control because of his range and...

DK: 101 A primer for newcomers.

Crank up that range score! Up-Tilt is underrated, comes out very fast, has range and hits all around him front top and back and goes well through platforms above him. Use uptilt to juggle underneath platforms into upairs for fast damage. Uptilt is the perfect punishing tool when shielding an...
