If they were adding in characters to promote upcoming games, then r.i.p Dixie fan's hopes and dreams. Or maybe not? I truly don't think this will ever happen, but what if Dixie had a starring role in an upcoming DKC game and Nintendo put her in Smash to help promote it?

I'm kind of glad that the Grinch leak was fake. I thought it was real, but I didn't really care for it either way. Also, a lot of it's supporters were being very disrespectful to anyone that thought it was fake.

We should still support her, who knows what will happen if she has enough support?

Well, I don't want to believe the leak, so it's not really a warning to me. I guess we'll just have to see what happens in the direct. I just don't have much hope for Dixie at this point.

Mostly good track record or not, there is a ton of evidence to the leak being real. I'm not gonna deny the leak just because I want Dixie in the game. Honestly, at this point, the main reason for me to watch the direct is just to see more information about the game-modes and stuff.

I agree with the concept of Dixie being mostly unique(Or just a totally new character), but Lucas has similar special moves to Ness that have a few differences while having unique standard attacks. I think Dixie should have at least a few different specials, and then some of her regular attacks...
