"Don't leak our stuff" isn't exactly something that only stands for a single event. If that's the case, they wouldn't be saying, on their own Twitter, "don't worry I'll find about Smash stuff soon."

Teeth look off to me, plus you can see the seams where the hair is removed from the Mii in the new screenshot; the sides of the Mii's face are much more cleanly covered in the leak, more rounded. Otherwise, it's pretty close.

Not dead, but there's enough doubt cast on Mii hat leak with modders being able to get fairly close to it and leakers confirming it has nothing to do with FP5 that a lot of people seem to be dismissing it. He could be post-Pass DLC, but if he is it seems no one has heard anything yet.

That's... not what the tweet says? Sabi's saying neither are FP5, not that they're not happening. And while the conclusion they've drawn is that the Mii leak is fake (which it very well could be, not denying that; I'm eager to see how much more model and texture detail can be managed by modders...

True enough; regardless, I am curious if a modder can manage the quality of those models and textures in the leak video. The modder here has managed the jiggle and such, but certainly not the model quality of that hat. It must be possible, right?

One thing I'll point out (and this isn't a statement that the leak is actually real for certain): as someone pointed out to me on Discord, no one's really had the motivation to try Mii costume modding. After all, why mod in Mii hats of a character when you can mod in the character themself over...

Slime and Morgana are just hats, for what it's worth. Not saying anything about the leak's authenticity, but just wanted to note that.
