No, not situations that just have two options but also situations where a person covers half the options available, such as the Sheik up smash tech chase I listed above. Or even 50/50 DI mixups like the Marth one I listed.

I actually just recently was told that the best way to grab tech away is by boost grabbing, so I've been implementing that more and it seems to be working better for me. Prior to this, I was simply JC grabbing all my tech chase grabs

Alright, watching those matches, I'm definitely seeing a thing or two that I could or should be doing as Link or Mario. Thanks for the help, Dedede really bugs me in this game with his dumb grab range and his fattiness so he lives forever.
