I just love that his trailer nailed what Kingdom Hearts magic is about. He literally came and unlocked Smash through the power of new friendship. The fact his trailer was ''Hi, new friends! Wake up!" was the perfect way to go about revealing him.

Also if Sora is Sakurai's last addition to Smash. He literally did the most Sakurai thing ever and bowed out on a FAN BALLOT winner. Like that kind of really says what Sakurai made Smash for. He always tried his best for the fans of every character even if sometimes it didn't feel like it.

Honestly if Sakurai did leave us. He really did give a beautiful ending with that trailer. It's like someone else said. Sora really woke them all up from thinking Smash was over, but no, Sakura's journey might end here, but he said Sora will be my lasting legacy in showing that Smash goes on.

If this is the last image of a Sakurai reveal we ever get? What a ****ing amazing end, like this man really put his legacy right here in this image. It's ****ing insane.

To think we saw Sephiroth ''kill" Mario and Mario unlock the gateway to bring Sora into Smash, then see Sora beat Sephiroth's ass in his trailer. Sakurai loves his narratives.

God his trailer really was beautiful. The moment Simple and Clean's melody played I was in tears. I guess I wanted Sora more than I thought. Lol.
