It seems on Classic Mode, the order is set up as such: Mario > Sonic Donkey Kong > Pokémon Trainer Link > King K. Rool Samus > Inkling Yoshi > Lucario Kirby > Ness Fox > Falco Pikachu > Shulk Although I have heard some reports that Pikachu may unlock Villager first, and then Shulk. More later.
