I don't think anyone could find anything offensive with that observation. It's actually a great thing if an event brings out a bunch of new people. It gets boring when it's the same players entering constantly. That being said, there will be pro combos happening throughout the day as well as...

No RSVP required. Just show up on time with da cash and you'll be fine. Like I've told other people, try to show up early since this is your first tournament so you can get a lot of friendlies in before the events actually start.
