I mean, I would gladly show you why the matchup isn't in Yoshi's favor. ^_____^ Yoshi has to approach. You can't say "a good Yoshi wouldn't get grabbed" and anything similar to it as that's not how a matchup analysis should be. If that were the case, a good Sheik wouldn't fall for your tricks...

Yoshi is kind of free now that I see it. It's to the point where Yoshi is probably top 10-15 in the game. Sheik vs Yoshi might be slightly in her favor. My rationale is based on the fact that Yoshi players WANT you to approach them. They'll throw eggs to make Sheik approach and we fall for it...

As of the moment. I believe HSD, when abused to the fullest extent, is undeniably better than default SD. I cannot punish HSD unless I keep my shield on and punishing the other Sonic's mistake. However, once can always HSD > Up B away. I am currently trying to find more effective punishes...

Hey everyone! I'm a Sheik main, but will be using Falcon to counter my tougher matchups, namely Lucario. How do you all think the DDD vs Falcon matchup is? DDD also gives me some trouble. Perhaps my mental block.

I've also used fthrow to vanish as a mixup to dthrow to vanish. It's all about conditioning the opponent at that point. Of course, some players are just too smart and will habitually jump away from Sheik as she tries to do a follow up. Also, it is really difficult to perform Rising Needles > BF...

His name is SnorlaxPlox. One of the better Kirby player's in NorCal and probably all of California. Definitely knowledgable in the matchup tho. I was surprised when I realized Kirby can hold its ground against Sheik.

After playing against a skilled Kirby player that basically knows the Sheik matchup, this matchup is pretty mixed. Perhaps 50-50 to 60-40 Sheik's Favor. Call me crazy, but that's what I think at the moment. You'll have to read their recovery methods. And when you have the opportunity to punish...

NICE GUY WAAEL

For the most part, if you're close enough to Full Hop Needle and it attacks them, a Bouncing Fish right after should be properly spaced. I've tried this on many characters, short and tall, light and heavy.

You need to full hop and press b at about the same time. It's a true combo at higher percentages. Works decently if they shield and don't expect a bouncing fish follow up.

I'm a Sheik main and I currently use Puff as a secondary next to Marth and Falcon. Do you all have any tips for me? And are there any match-ups that you feel Puff does well in that Sheik may not? I only think of Luigi and possible Lucario.
