Here's one with more data added and things combined to see which characters have the best landing lag stats for each situation (and compared to their weight). It's an edit of what Thinkaman posted, so credits to him...

Largest disappointment for me is how long it takes to get custom moves even with tactics to make sure you get the red wrenches. Damn badges and mii items in the way.

:4palutena: by a long shot on her default specials. They're just not very useful from what I've tested. Also her normals aren't very strong in combination with that.

Thought I'd like Greninja and I did. Was interested in Palutena too but her defaults are just..eh..I need to try her more with the other custom specials.

Giants on Jungle Japes is still the greatest thing ever. They just instantly suicide most of the time.

Pretty sure there is a decent amount of lag there after they launch it so at least at mid range you can jump over and fair/nair or something. Depends on the character I guess. I admit it would still be annoying regardless.

Players who after losing to you twice will pick your character out of rage and then still lose. Sometimes spamming taunt after the lose a stock and are way behind. Then they drop. Pretty common actually so I have usually just give every person in For Glory a best 2/3 and then I drop.

Walking instead of just dashing does wonders for punishing roll/dash attack spamming players.

I would agree with everything but badges for now. It's just too much effort to collect the best ones at random and some characters will have more advantage from what is discovered as "the best stat" than others. Don't really see it helping balance. Custom moves and custom move characters are...
