I know. I think the balance is fine though. Base game usually only adds a couple of third parties, and mostly Nintendo characters. When we do end up getting Nintendo characters as DLC, they have a good chance of being shill picks, so I’d rather just get 3rd party characters as DLC anyway.

That’s a good point. They still brought back the K Rool, Isabelle, and Inkling costumes despite them all being upgraded to fighters. We haven’t had a case yet of a previous Mii costume being upgraded as a DLC fighter. So if it happened with Geno or Lloyd, we just assumed the costume wouldn’t...
