Who is supposed to report the results of the match after a set? Is it the winner or do the two players just pick someone to report the score?

I don't know much about palutena or kirby, but I know the swordies and fox like tri-plats because of things like their platform combo extentions.

Sucking people in and spitting them offstage is a perfectly good way to get kills. And also, if you mash, then there’s no way that should even kill you. Kinda seems like your the one being salty tbh.

this doesn't seem like an infinite, but it seems pretty good. I'd like to see top players doing this in tournament.

maybe try having your friend remove the grey usb he uses for the gamecube adapter and replace it with your controllers usb. He doesn't really need to have it plugged in because its only for rumble.

Maybe try going to local tournaments. If you go a few hours early, you can play friendlies until the tournament starts.

basically just fight fire with fire. Use a generally defensive play style, but sometimes try to pressure with fair and go for down throws and follow them up with fair and up air strings. it would also help if I could see game play to see if there's anything else your doing wrong.

UCF just makes it so that people with good controllers won't have an advantage over people with bad ones. Unless you are using a super good specially made controller, it won't have any effect on you.

i tend to try to just ignore them. However, what you have to be careful of is that once your on a platform, try not to immediately get off the platform, as this easily readable, and many players tend to do this. Try to maybe hold shield, or jump onto another platform before going back to the ground.
