Time to react ate my smash boards account and become active once again. I have to apologies for my negligence over the year towards the smash community. There really isn't an excuse as to why I dropped off the radar for a good chunk. Regardless, it's time to start things back up (sorta).

There's some marvel guys going out there from CO to Salt fest. Although for Brawl specifically, I'm not sure.

If you can, attempt to trace where it leads. You can use an exacto knife and scratch off some of the shield if you find the trace. Think of it like a vein.

You're good. Pretty much the sand paper is there so the primer sticks a bit better.

Fest = Friendly gathering. Tournament = Bring your A game.

Pretty much just spray a light coat. Don't drench the poor thing. Also~ "STAY AWAY FROM THE CONTROLLER WHEN SPRAYING IT! I ruined 3 shells because I sprayed them too close, especially with paint. If you spray way too close, there's a very good chance you'll get vein-like lines in your work...

If you can, give it to someone else. I currently have 4 CRT's in my apartment :/

When you sand it down, give it a feel. Make sure that there's not a spot where it feels smooth. As for the controller still looking purple, not sure if it's just a purple shell or if it was painted purple. When I sanded an orange controller, the whole shell was orange, so it wouldn't change...

Sanding it is still recommended, despite spraying it with the same color. It helps the primer stick. Also, a P0 phillips screwdriver can remove the plastic shield covering the L/R buttons. Just unscrew the two screws.
