Which taunt do you like the best and why? I think that :ultzelda:‘s taunt where she waves whilst giggling tauntingly is the best. Not only is it absolutely adorable, but it’s amazing at getting under her opponent’s skin with that irritating laugh ^^

Yeah, sometimes you don’t even need to taunt to irritate your opponent and can be annoying in your playstyle instead. I know that :ultzelda:‘s Phantom and neutral B alone can drive people crazy, it’s funny to watch when I spam them xD

It’s a shame we can’t use :ultzelda:‘s down taunt in situations like these on quick play. Imagine how much rage she could induce, waving and giggling tauntingly at angry kids as they mess up and SD ;)

:ultzelda:‘s wave taunt where she giggles is really cute IMO. It’s also really good at aggravating people from my experience haha. That giggle she does can get under their skin.

That’s true, sometimes the taunter will feel more pressured to win and get nervous. It’s kind of a risk in that way for those people. That’s true, but you have to remember that Smash is a competitive game. Purposely frustrating your opponent to make them crack might be what it takes to win.

I guess it’s possible that he would’ve gotten angsty for the kill even without the taunts, but if he got angry at the taunting as well, that would make him play even riskier since he’s even more aggravated. I tried it on a few other people afterwards too. Even when I was down in percentage...

Peach’s dancing taunt is a pretty good mindgame. She can provoke her opponent to the point where all they can think about is hitting her, making them play way more aggressively. It’s so provocative and salt-inducing that it burns the mind of her opponent and makes them forget about strategy.
