This may sound weird, but I actually think the easiest way is to use Ness's fair. It does a lot of damage if you hit master/crazy hand with the full multihit (which is easy with them) then just grab ledge when you're in danger since Ness's recovery sucks.

I was thinking about how limited the Melee tournament scene is as far as maps and modes go, so I started thinking, would it be a good idea to have sub-events like stamina mode or item battles? Obviously it would be separate from normal events (like singles, doubles, stamina, something like that).

When I run it on the Wii, I can sometimes get a lot of input lag, which really sucks, so I would just run it on GC if you can.

Something I've noticed when fighting Luigi CPUs is that they use side special in every recovery situation, even when they need vertical recovery. I was warming up against a level 9 this morning, and every kill was because the CPU apparently decided to go under the stage.
