    Guide Momentum Canceling

That being said, wavedashe in place is an interesting feint-it plays the sound clip of a wavedashe "Ya!" and creates a cloud under luigi like a typical WD. This may cause your opponent to panic and throw an attack out in hopes of stopping your 'approach'

Things we should be doing more of

The three 'momentum cancel' options all work to accomplish the same goal, but they have slightly different properties. I think in a perfect world we should learn how to use all of them. Shield-stop: Takes the most frames (have to put up shield, drop shield, etc.) and should honestly be used...

Battlefied fireball gimp i've been messing around with

Bad ass. Didn't know you could do that. Promptly stealing for future swag on noobs. But yeah. Against a competent opponent I think it may be too risky / take too much time to set up.

How do I deal with Marth's sword?

Marth is tricky. You have to dance just outside his range and bait out attacks. Gotta be prepared to go in when he whiffs. The biggest thing I say is to become comfortable with Marth's range-you have to not fear being close to him.

    Hello guys!

If you connect the nair before they touch the stage (While they are still in Side->B) they shouldn't get their jump back. I do agree that it gives them an opportunity to escape with DI or a tech on a platform though. Abate edgeguards like this pretty extensively and it works in his favor more...

Things we should be doing more of

Passive aggression is the name of the game. Play defensive but always be ready to pounce!

Things we should be doing more of

If a Puff misses a rest, so too do they get punished (even harder). It's all about risk reward. The reward is so high to not use it more often.

Edge Cancel Side b to Ledge grab

    Video example?

    Hello guys!

I think the most option coverage would be to SHFFL a Nair near the edge to kind of 'Sweep' every Side-B to stage option. If they start a firefox you can WD->Ftilt or WD off the stage into an aerial or something.

Things we should be doing more of

The purpose of my making this thread is to generate discussion on pushing Luigi's metagame, not to refer people to another character. Yes, characters like Sheik have a pushed metagame and our in general better than our beloved plumber (lets be honest here). However, I play Luigi because of his...

    Hello guys!

Our edgeguarding style of foxs is pretty similar (Ha. Go figure!) but I think it needs some work. One thing we love to do is SH and throw a fireball out - I think it's too committal and we end up getting hit by Side-B more often than not. Furthermore, the risk-reward of actually hitting with it...

Things we should be doing more of

As my hiking trip winds down into its final weeks, I'd like to divulge some thoughts that I've had out here. There is way too much time to think tbh. Maybe this is stuff I think I should be doing more myself but I think it expands out to the general Luigi population. 1. Shryuken (Up-B) This is...
