Nice to have confirmation at least since it'll stop people getting their hopes up for the amiibo updates. I also don't expect anything more than Sora bug fixes since it's only been a month since his release. Overall I'm happy with the game's balance. Sure I'd like to have seen some more mid/low...

With enough skill and bracket luck you could win a major with over 1/3 of the cast and even that might be lowballing it. Tiers should only really reflect how little bracket luck you need rather than how strong each character is in a vacuum.

Is this the fastest a DLC character has won a major since their release? Also I find it refreshing that we got a top 16 with no :ultrob: and :ultroy: in sight.

I'm sure if Northern Cave has any music issues you can use the smash remixes since they shouldn't be affected.

The change doesn't happen if hazards are turned off sadly.

Speaking purely from a spectator's view I'd love to see a shakeup on the stage list. Of course the players and TO's are more important to the conversation but if we aren't going to be recieving any more balance updates then I hope people are open to trying something new.

Unlocking all the DLC characters at once might be one of the most satisfying things I've ever experienced in a game.

It's great that the devs are still trying to fix the low tiers but I think the main issue they'll always face is that they all have fundamental flaws that simply can't be fixed by changing a few moves here and there. Buffing mid tiers has always had a bigger impact on the meta in comparison...

If the buffs are significant enough then poor :ultswordfighter: will be left in the dust.

Considering how little Min Min has been nerfed despite the backlash from the Japanese scene, I'm starting to think that Pyra/Mythra will only get a slap on the wrist. The DLC characters in general haven't seen many changes especially when compared to Smash 4.

I'm gonna make one post on the next Smash game speculation thread and then in a few years if I haven't completely moved on from Nintendo/gaming in general I'll come back to the thread and laugh at how right/wrong I was.
