I'll give this 55/45 in TL's favor only because of Olimar's gimpability. Of course a good Oli has worked on getting back on with an edge hogging opponent, but there's so much you can do especially if the Toon is edge dropping -> zairing back on.

Metaknight and Snake for diff. reasons. Meta for having such a stale routine that's shared by so many Meta players, and Snake for being ridiculously broken. Up tilt hits someone on an edge below you? **** that!

Absolutely! Taking a break from Toon Link and playing Fox, Marth, Olimar, S/Zamus, Mario, Weegee, Wario, Snake, and DDD has not only made the game funner in my eyes, but has made me a better player in the end when I return to Toon and have fall back plans should I need them.

Not everyone has the play time available to learn the meta game independently, brah. Hell, I played Melee for about three years after launch without knowing what wave dashing was. I didn't hit up any Smash sites until 2004 btw lol.

No u But seriously, the point isn't necessarily to 'invent' something, but to...advertise it? There are many Toons who don't use this little edge game tech that would benefit, and I don't see it mentioned in this or any other thread on this board.

If somebody doesn't 'get' a guide, then they can ask for help after wards in that guide thread. I'll admit a lot of things in guide threads left me very confused, but asking the author or simply leaving an open question will handle that situation.
