Plasm Wraith was shown as a Spirit in the recent Japanese direct. What this means, I don't know, but if Spirits don't get a shot (which I think they do) then the dream may be dead.

Olimar is a hard character to learn, because of how his Pikmin mechanic needs a lot of knowledge of the character to be used on a top level. Sure, there might be some people who play him for the high skill floor and reward, but I doubt he'll be seen as much compared to Pikachu, for example.

They're being cautious so that they don't set themselves up for failure if Sakurai really does want to keep every AT from playable status until Smash 6. I still think she has a shot, but I don't honestly believe she'll get in unless she or someone else proves that Sakurai is willing to do that...

Splatoon was really popular in Japan, so I'd say that Inkling was supposed to be their Ridley. Ashley does come close, though.

I support Isabelle. I want the best secretary pup in the game. She's probably an echo IMO with a few different changes similar to Chrom. (Like the Balloon Fighter recovery). I'd like her to be unique, who wouldn't, but an Echo would be infinitely easier to make and Isabelle doesn't seem as high...
