How reliable are top players' tier lists right now?

Laughably reliable honestly. Its like asking if a guess is a definite statement. Thats not to say every guess isn't a definite wrong. But thats all tier lists are... Educated guesses.

    is K Rool broken?

Any character is broken if you dont give anyone the time to learn how to fight against character tactics, it hasnt even been a week yet!

The Aura is with him! - Lucario Thread

Whoa you're still here!? That's sick! Anyways, about lucario in this game, if you didn't like him in 4, I don't think the changes to the character will fix anything. However in my case in ultimate the new universal mechanics along with being able to freestyle while dashing hasn't exactly hurt...

    This game stresses me out

Well the first question I'm gonna ask you if I'm gonna try to help is: How are you going to know when you improve?

Trying to get better at smash, if anyone can help I'll appreciate it. Also I can upload games to youtube if you like. I'm also looking for training. Not sure what level I'm on though.

Is the skill gap in Smash 4 too small?

It's not risk v reward when taking a risk and not taking a risk could potentially have the same result. You get punished for not l canceling the same as if you chose to l cancel and failed.

Is the skill gap in Smash 4 too small?

Unless you are off stage which is what I was talking about. Like why can't it be hold L to tech. Why do you have to time it? But I don't even know about your opinion on that. Also in General why does it need timing? Edit: nvm I figured out why.

Is the skill gap in Smash 4 too small?

I wanted to use this argument. But the thing is, It compares l-canceling to other mechanics in every game. And the case is different for me.When i landed a FADC for my first time out of training, I felt like i got a reward. L-canceling feels like i just started playing the game, like the game...

Is the skill gap in Smash 4 too small?

He never said that the two were the exact same, or that they were both random. Just that apples and oranges were both fruits. and he could see a similarity if he tried.

Is the skill gap in Smash 4 too small?

You can lose a stock from not teching. Idk, depends on what you define "Punisher mechanics" as. Sorry im kinda lost.

Is the skill gap in Smash 4 too small?

The same core issues that teching in general has? I mean why not make that 5x easier? Or am I waaaaaaaaay off?

Is the skill gap in Smash 4 too small?

Tripping isn't an element you control. Not trying to insult or bash or anything, just asking you to think about it a bit more. Err... What? Sorry I didn't catch what you said meant.
