Did some testing and found that for Mewtwo’s up throw Fox does at the exact same percent 126% as the heavier Olimar and Pikachu. What would explain that other than his high gravity? Genuinely asking. And for knockback more horizontal I don’t understand how DI’ing down and towards the stage...

Can we use shine as a momentum cancel to try and survive longer? For instance when a high horizontal knockback attack hits up we can di in and as soon as we can act we can shine to prevent drifting?

Lucario main here. I have a Wolf main friend that I consistently and definitively beat when I use any of my secondaries but whenever I pull out the Lucario I struggle. That DSmash wrecks my recovery at the ledge and reflector obviously works against my aura sphere. Not to mention Bair killing me...

When did I say his other characteristics didn’t deserve to be buffed? I said his smashes are too powerful, too long-ranged and too disjointed and that it was frustrating to die to them from one mistake or mis input at low percent.. that’s it. And a professional player agrees...

29 actually and with the 6 frame minimum input lag online it’s not that hard to make a mistake and get hit by its enormous and ridiculously strong hitbox... I realize it is slow but my point is all it takes is one to hit and you’re basically done. Maybe I play too much WiFi..

Ganons smashes aren’t really THAT slow. If you watch Nairo he consistently lands then on players like samsora multiple times a match. Bad WiFi players spam them and all it takes is one to hit your med-light character and you’re pretty much done with that stock.

Played 64 and melee very casually. Was too young to realize competitive play. Then Brawl came along and changed everything for me personally. Became a fairly competitive player and since smash 4 and now Ultimate, the series has cemented itself as my favorite of all time next to Pokémon.
